SCHROEDS has been a transformative force in the dance music scene for over two decades, captivating a new generation of listeners with his unique sound. His musical voyage began at 16 in 1995, spinning house tracks in Cincinnati and quickly gaining recognition. Early in his career, he landed a coveted opening slot at the Lift club, performing alongside industry giants such as Felix the Housecat, Todd Terry, and Moodyman.

Driven by a deep love for dance music, SCHROEDS ventured into production with his high school friend Jeremy Zunk, forming the duo "LP." Their collaboration caught the attention of Moonshine Records, leading to a contract and the release of several 12" singles in 2001.

By 2002, SCHROEDS, alongside Taylor Pakula, had made a mark on the Southwest rave scene, delivering unforgettable live performances and DJ sets, and sharing stages with acts like Rabbit in the Moon and DJ Magic Mike.

A move to Los Angeles in 2005 saw SCHROEDS diving into production for renowned artists such as Paul Oakenfold and Adam Freeland, and releasing music as "The Fraction" on Perfecto Records in the late 2000s.

After stepping back from the music scene, SCHROEDS found new inspiration through his work at Native Instruments and connections with LA's DJ scene, including Mary Droppinz, NAIAD, and Materielle. The LA Beat Scene, known for its cyphers and retreats, played a significant role in reigniting his creative spark. Currently, SCHROEDS is producing distinctive tracks, working closely with local talents like NAIAD, Mary Droppinz, and Taylor Plenn.

With his enduring influence and a resurgence of support, SCHROEDS continues to be a vibrant force in both music production and the dance community.
